Andrew established his bindery in 2010 following a 5 year period working with Trevor Lloyd of Ludlow, one of the world's foremost book restorers and period binders.
Prior to this, Andrew was funded by The Welsh Assembly Government to train with the late Maureen Duke, who was among the craft's most revered teachers.
Andrew's passion for fine binding continues to flourish as he constantly strives to expand his knowledge and experience of historic binding styles, and to add to his gold finishing tool collection.
In a former life Andrew worked as a chemist in the pharmaceutical and hazardous waste industries. When he is not not in the workshop, you will likely find him cycling around the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside.
